DX, the magic abbreviation

DX, being the abbreviation of “long distance” has more to do with difficulty than distance in its absolute terms. Since their early days, amateur radio operators have been keen to compare their achievements with collegues. Since it existance, the ARRL’s DXCC program has been the standard and norm when HAMs speak about DX. My main DX goals consist of persuing the DXCC, IOTA (Islands on The Air) and WAZ (Worked All Zones) programms.

Still need to work KH3 (Johnson island), KH7K (Kure) and 3Y/B (Bouvet) for a “full house”.
